01Who we are
Arcanesys is the brand operated by Manuel Wegria / Vincent Romagnoli, an independent sole-trader entity based in the European Union. Contact: contact@arcanesys.fr.
02What we collect, when, and why
This site collects personal data only when you submit the contact form. Specifically:
- Name, email, organisation, role: to identify and reply to you
- Fleet size and regulatory regime: to assess pilot fit
- Optional free-text problem description: context for the conversation
Legal basis: your explicit consent by submitting the form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) and our legitimate interest in responding (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
03What we don't do
- No analytics scripts. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no tracking pixels.
- No cookies set by us. The site itself uses no cookies.
- No third-party data sharing. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
- No newsletter signup, no marketing list, no drip campaigns.
Our form processing is hosted on Netlify (a third party). Netlify acts as a data processor. Submitted form fields transit Netlify's infrastructure before reaching us. Netlify is a US-based provider. EU-US data transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If this is a regulatory concern for you, email us directly at contact@arcanesys.fr instead of using the form.
04How long we keep it
- Active conversation: until the conversation ends.
- After conversation ends: 12 months under legitimate interest (follow-up, audit trail), then deletion.
- If a pilot or commercial relationship begins: data is retained for the duration of that relationship and 5 years after termination, per French commercial accounting obligations.
05Your rights (GDPR Articles 15–22)
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Rectify any data that is incorrect
- Have your data erased (right to be forgotten)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
- File a complaint with the CNIL (France) or your national data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@arcanesys.fr with the subject "GDPR request". We respond within 30 days.
06Updates
We will update this page if our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for at least 30 days.
